The Lost Vape LYRA 20W Pod System is a budget-friendly AIO device that boasts some really nice leather grip options and a no-mess filling setup. It also features a relatively large battery capacity for its size and three different power levels. The Lost Vape LYRA Pod can deliver a tight MTL vape, with decent flavor. Furthermore, the vapor output is quite minimal, allowing you to stealth puff indoors.
Lost Vape is a well-respected vape manufacturer that was first established in 2014. They pride themselves on delivering affordable and innovative products to the market. In 2018 they released the very popular and revolutionary Quest Orion Q. This put Lost Vape on the map. Ever since then they’ve continually improved and refined this type of pod system. So naturally, I was intrigued when they put out something completely different.
The Lost Vape LYRA 20W Pod System measures 96.3mm’s by 30.8mm’s by 15.8mm’s and as a result, will fit perfectly into the palm of your hand. The rechargeable 1000 mAh battery can output a maximum of 20 watts on the highest power mode. The three levels are categorized by colors and can be easily cycled through by clicking the fire button three times consecutively.
The main chassis is well built and feels sturdy. Unfortunately, I can’t say the same for the snap-in cartridge. The plastic top cap feels cheap and is hard to release. It can hold a very average 2ml of eliquid, but does feature a smart filling system. Two grommet plugs allow the extra air to escape, meaning no pressure build-up. The holes can comfortably fit a chubby gorilla tip or glass dripper inside.
The Lost Vape LYRA 20W Pod System comes with two new LYRA coil heads. This includes a 0.6ohm Mesh and also a 1.4ohm Ceramic. I found the flavor to be ok, but they ultimately didn’t last very long. Each coil burnt out within a few days or so. Furthermore, I would have much preferred a plug ‘n’ play design instead of a threaded. The LYRA does feature side airflow, but it’s not adjustable.
The cheapest price I could find the Lost Vape LYRA 20W Pod System selling for online was $17.95 USD. Even for an average pod system, that’s affordable. I would only recommend this device to people that are fans of Lost Vape or are strapped for cash. It does have some flaws, but you get what you pay for. The packaging and presentation are where the LYRA Pod shines. I especially liked the colored leather variations on offer. The box is simplistic and stylish. It features a nice photo of the pod and some notable specifications. Inside you’ll find your Lyra Battery and Lyra Pod. Underneath the white eggshell packaging is 2 x coils, and also a detailed user manual.
