The Lost Vape PRANA 12W Pod System is a tiny stealth vape that’s compact and highly portable. It boasts an extremely beautiful exterior chassis that comes in acrylic or textured leather. It also features three different power modes, replaceable cartridges and also an easy to use side-fill system. The build and finish of this device is beyond excellent. Unfortunately, while the PRANA looks nice, it doesn’t perform very well. More on that later.
Lost Vape is a high-end vape manufacturer that found great success with the original Orion pod device release. Since then Lost Vape has produced a range of high-quality devices that include the most recent Lost Vape Orion Q-ULTRA 40W Pod System. Their attention to design and the user’s experience has always been a defining factor. Keep reading for an in-depth rundown on the brand new Lost Vape PRANA 12W Pod System.
The Lost Vape PRANA 12W Pod System may look familiar to some vapers. Its form resembles the VOOPOO Drag Nano and also Smoant Battlestar Baby quite closely. In my opinion, it’s much more fashionable and aesthetically pleasing. It measures just 66.8mm’s by 41.4mm’s by 14.2mm’s and weighs basically nothing. This is because of the lightweight Zinc-Alloy construction. It’s durable and also very strong.
The bulk of the device is made up of an internal 500mAh battery. It can output a modest 12 watts and features three different power modes that can be switched by clicking the adjustment button. This also turns your device on and off. I was able to get roughly half a day’s worth of vaping out of the PRANA before having to recharge. This is less than I had expected. It also didn’t seem to perform as well when the battery is diminished.
To fire, just breath in to activate. The time to fire was noticeably slow. What I did like about the Lost Vape PRANA 12W Pod System was its intuitive side filling system. Also, the little eliquid viewing window came in handy. The 1ml capacity refillable cartridges snap into the battery via magnets and feel secure. I would have preferred a little more room for ejuice though.
My main gripe was with the coils. They cap out at 1.0 ohms and are very thin. This usually results in a quick burn out time, limited vapor production and subpar flavor. I had to really work for a decent MTL hit from the Lost Vape PRANA 12W Pod System. I personally prefer thicker coils and the ability to adjust my airflow. The flavor was average and not what I’ve come to expect from Lost Vape. Overall I was a bit disappointed with this vape.
The Lost Vape PRANA 12W Pod System is currently retailing for $27.95 USD. This is very expensive compared to other more powerful and higher capacity pod devices. I feel like the price will come down very quickly over the next few weeks. So if you’re still keen to pick one up to try, maybe just wait for a bit. As always, this is just my personal opinion and you may love this device. I always recommend testing the device out for yourself.
The PRANA 12W Pod System comes in a variety of luxe colors and material types. This includes black acrylic, champagne gem acrylic, gem blue acrylic, black leather, champagne gold leather, and also brown leather. The packaging is modern and well presented. The stark white background contrasts well against the vivid product photo. Inside you’ll find your Lost Vape Prana battery, 1 x cartridge, MicroUSB cable, and also a user manual.
