The Sense ORBIT BABY 18W Pod System is an extremely compact device that can fit in the palm of your hand. It features a modest-sized battery, two different output modes, and a replaceable coil pod cartridge. The exterior is adorned with a beautiful resin and carbon fiber pattern. This vape is super stealthy and produces minimal clouds. As a result, it’s perfect for indoor vaping on the down-low.
I’m a big fan of Sense and the pod vapes they’ve been releasing as of late. This includes the very popular Sense ORBIT and also the original Sense ORBIT TF. The latest rendition boasts a new set of flavorsome coils and also a more modern breath activated firing system. Sense Technology is a relatively new vape manufacturer to emerge out of China in early 2019. Keep reading for a full breakdown of the Sense ORBIT BABY 18W Pod System.
The Sense ORBIT BABY 18W Pod System is tiny and measures just 66.2mm’s by 39mm’s by 55mm’s. It has a slight bit of weight to it thanks to the superior combination of zinc-alloy and PC construction. Furthermore, the main chassis consists of an internal 460 mAh battery. It’s rechargeable and can output between 12 and 18 watts. I was able to get around a day or so worth of vaping out of it before having to recharge.
It includes two power modes that range from normal to strong. Though I’m not entirely sure how to switch between them. The awkward button has been removed and instead, Sense opted for a more modern draw activated firing system. This feels more natural to vape on versus the original. A very subtle LED light will indicate when the pod is active and also the current battery level.
The side fill cartridges can hold 2ml of eliquid, which is 1ml less than the previous model. I would have liked to have seen a larger eliquid capacity. This is because the battery is more than half the size of the TF Pod. The chipset includes some standard safety features that protect you and the device. This includes low resistance, low voltage, short circuit, and also maximum cut off time.
The coils are exceptionally simple to install, just plug and play. As previously mentioned you can replace the coil without having to buy another cartridge. This is usually much cheaper for the consumer and produces less wastage. The Sense ORBIT BABY comes with the new SX Mesh coil series. My personal favorite was the 1.0 ohm resistance coil head. The pods snap into place and also possesses no wiggle room.
My only gripe with the Sense ORBIT BABY pod is the price. It’s currently retailing for $25 USD from Heaven Gifts. This was the cheapest price I could find online at the time of writing this review. The original sells for $19.95 USD. Considering the reduced battery and eliquid capacity size, I would have thought it would be selling at a lower price. While a little bit on the pricey side, it’s still relatively cheap in comparison to similar products.
The Sense ORBIT BABY Pod is available in a wide variety of resin colors. Each design is unique and looks fantastic. The packaging is relatively basic, yet stylish. The front face features a sleek black background and gorgeous photography of the ORBIT BABY Pod. Inside the packaging, you’ll find your device, 2 x coils, lanyard, Micro USB cable, and also a user manual.
