The Sense ORBIT TF Pod System is a great little all-in-one device that’s perfect for supplement use in between your day to day box mod vaping. The good people from Sense Technology have released yet another fantastic pod in 2019! Other top-rated devices include the Sense SIDEKIK and Sense ORBIT. I absolutely loved these pods, so I couldn’t wait to try out the new Orbit TF.
Sense is a China-based company, that has made a huge splash in what has been an objectively average vape release calendar this year. I’ve found that their products clearly out-perform similar devices from leading manufacturers like SMOK, VOOPOO and also Geekvape. The only thing they are currently lacking is exposure, which I hope this article helps with. Make sure to keep reading for my full breakdown of features, in addition to some small critiques.
The Sense ORBIT TF is a compact, yet robust pod system that measures 79.3mm’s by 45.5mm’s by 18.6mm’s. The chassis is made from a strong combination of zinc alloy and PC plastic. It boasts a powerful 1100 mAh rechargeable battery that can output 0.5 ohms to 3.0 ohms. You can conveniently choose between 3 different power levels that range from soft, normal and also strong.
The firing button may feel awkwardly placed in relation to the mouthpiece if you’re a thumb fire vaper. As a result, it forces you to vape over the fill port. Although, this isn’t a problem if you’re a finger fire vaper. The LED light position is in a similar boat, where it’s weirdly placed on the right side of the pod. This is great for left-handed people, but not right-handed.
The refillable pod cartridge can hold a decent 3ml’s of eliquid and provides a clear viewing window. The top-fill system features a unique latch system. I quite like this innovation and would like to see other companies incorporate it. It’s very easy to squeeze in your ejuice without making any mess. Sense has always engineered great, long-lasting cartridges that consequently just work.
The piece de la resistance is the patented Sense coils. The flavor and longevity are unreal. Included in the Orbit TF kit is a 0.6 ohm mesh coil and 1.10 ohm KA coil. I obviously preferred the mesh coil for its taste and cloud production, but the old KA coil did ok. They are plug and play, with no leaks to speak of. The cartridge is held in place by two strong magnets.
The cheapest price I could find for the Sense ORBIT TF Pod System was on VaporDNA. You can pick one up right now for just $19.95 USD. That is unbelievably cheap and well worth checking out if you’re a vaper on a budget. I can recommend this device to experienced vapers that enjoy an airy pod. The draw isn’t tight so it’s probably not well suited to smokers or newbies.
The Sense ORBIT TF is currently available in a handful of beautiful resin-like colors that include prism black, red, gold, light blue, green and also purple. The packaging is pretty standard and overall very minimal. Nothing too notable to talk about. Inside you will find your Orbit TF Pod, 2 x coils, Micro USB cable, spare rubber plug and a user manual.
