The Skynet Sub-Ohm Tank by Augvape consistently punches above its weight because of its flavorsome mesh coils and quality construction. Augvape was founded in 2013 and are based in China. Their company’s goals are to provide excellent customer service worldwide and to push vaping innovation into the future.
Their latest sub-ohm tank has been a huge success over the past few months because it’s affordable and looks great. The Skynet Sub-Ohm Tank is a good solution for vapers that don’t want to muck around with rebuildables, but still want a similar flavor output.
The Skynet is a 24mm bottom airflow sub-ohm tank that comes with a 0.15 ohm (60 – 80W) mesh coil pre-installed. It’s made from superior stainless steel and pyrex glass. Up top you’ve got a frosted 9mm bore 810 drip tip, that looks awesome. The threaded top cap is easy to use and the fill ports are big. Down below your bubble tank that can hold 5.1 ml’s of ejuice or 3.6 ml with the straight tube.
The Skynet by Augvape is great for airflow hogs as they have included three adjustable ports. I like to dial mine in so its half closed and then bam! welcome to flavor town baby. I’ve been using this tank for a few weeks now and have not once experienced any leaks. The 510 connection is gold plated and protrudes slightly.
Most online vendors have it retailing for around $24 USD. Madness, right? That’s literally half the price of similar tanks currently on the market. Because of this I would recommend the Skynet Sub-Ohm Tank to anyone and everyone to try.
The packaging looks okay, but not great. When you’re paying bottom dollar for anything, you’re usually not getting any frills on top. The tank and spares are set in cut-away foam holders with a solid yellow cardboard background. I admit, when I got mine, my expectations about this tank dropped.
That being said, it does come in a pretty tidy little hard-plastic clear box, so you can tell at a glance if your local mailman has treated your package with care. You can currently get the Skynet in black, stainless steel or rainbow. I would have liked to have seen a bit more variety in color choice.
