The Thinkvape Thor AIO 80W Pod Mod is a run of the mill hybrid device that looks aesthetically pleasing but struggles with some minor performance and engineering issues. It boasts an external battery and a decent juice capacity. The airflow is smooth and the flavor was pretty good. This device could have been really good if it wasn’t for the lackluster power output, poor quality coils, and display screen problems.
Thinkvape was founded in 2015 and is based out of Shenzhen, China. They’ve released a handful of dual battery box mods and pod systems over this time. Thinkvape appears to take a lot of inspiration from other brands when designing and manufacturing their products. This isn’t always a bad thing, especially if they were able to improve upon the original. Keep reading to find out our honest thoughts on the Thinkvape Thor AIO 80W Pod Mod.
The Thinkvape Thor AIO Pod Mod is very compact and also lightweight considering it can output up to 80 watts. It measures in at 89mm’s by 44.5mm’s by 26mm’s and weighs just 104 grams with a single 18650 battery installed. The overall construction of this device is pretty good. I experinced no random rattles and the battery door boasts some great magnets. The main chassis is made from a strong combination of ABS ( the plastic used for legos ) and PC.
The Thinkvape Thor AIO Pod Mod has a really nice rubber finish. It feels super smooth in hand but surprisingly added some grip to the device. The front face features a relatively small display screen that’s rather dim indoors and literally unreadable in daylight. This was a clear oversight by The Think Vape enginers. Furthermore, the fire button position feels a bit high and your fingers will cover one of three airflow slots when thumb firing.
The Thinkvape Thor AIO Pod Mod boasts a dotAIO style cartridge that can hold 3ml’s of eliquid. It’s made from quality PCTG and is relatively easy to fill. You don’t even have to remove the cartridge. Just unplug the silicon plug and squeeze in your ejuice. Under the cartridge is your adjustable airflow. It works a treat and can also be modified while in the device.
The Thinkvape Thor AIO Pod Mod can output good flavor and clouds; I just feel like it lacks some grunt. Even at higher wattages, I wasn’t able to get a typical pull that you’d expect from a single 18650. The draw is a semi-restricted DTL and is overall decent. Two coils come bundled with this kit. Both performed ok but didn’t last very long. After just a few days, the flavor completely dropped off.
The Thinkvape Thor AIO 80W Pod Mod is available to buy right now. The best price I could find online was $25.90 USD from Everzon. Make sure to use our exclusive 5% off coupon code ‘WWM5’ at checkout. I think that’s a fair price to pay for an average AIO pod device. A single-coil RBA cartridge is also on offer but sold separately. I would recommend this product to new vapers that are shopping on a budget.
The Thinkvape Thor AIO 80W Pod Mod comes in a wide variety of colored patterns. This includes clouds, cassette, asura, grid-dark, grid-orange, and also hexagon. The fun designs initially attracted me to get hold of this device. The packaging is a bit dated but gets the job done. Inside you’ll find your Thor AIO Pod Mod, cartridge, 2 x coils, MicroUSB charging cable, and also a user manual.
