Today I’ll be reviewing the Vaporesso LUXE Nano 80W Starter Kit. Vaporesso has been dominating the market in 2019, releasing many popular vapes like the Aurora Play and Renova Zero Pod. They are one of those companies that consistently release high quality and also affordable products. If you have ever owned a Vaporesso mod or tank, you will understand what I mean. So how does the new Luxe Nano stack up?
The dimensions of the Luxe Nano are 122mm x 40mm x 26mm. It features a modest 2500 mAh built-in battery and is capable of firing from 5 to 80 watts. The resistance range is 0.03 ohms to 5 ohms and it can also support 2 amp charging. Vaporesso has used the OMNI board 4.2 chipset that makes firing within 0.0002 seconds possible. That is lightning fast and super impressive.
On the front of the Luxe Nano is a beautiful 1.3 inch TFT color screen. I usually don’t care too much about the display, but Vaporesso has done a terrific job on it. They make all the vaping information that you need accessible, whilst also being aesthetically pleasing to the eye. It also vibrates after making a various menu or mode changes.
The tank that comes with the Luxe Nano 80W Starter Kit is the SKRR-S mini. This sub-ohm tank can hold 3.5ml’s of eliquid. You’ll find a QF Strip coil pre-installed, which has a resistance of 0.15 ohms and a spare QF Mesh coil which has a resistance of 0.2 ohms. The QF coil wicking material is made from flax fiber, instead of regular cotton. Vaporesso has also chosen to style their QF coils like a bullet.
The new coil structure is supposed to minimize spit back and eliminate cool air intake. As a result, giving you a warmer and thicker vaping experience. To be honest, I don’t think it actually works too well. The vape quality I got from the SKRR-S sub-ohm tank wasn’t that great and I was kind of let down. This is a first for me, as most other Vaporesso tanks are great.
You can expect to pay $65 USD or $85 AUD, depending on where you buy your vape products from. I think this is a reasonable price for any decent starter kit. Overall the Vaporesso Luxe Nano is a good device and I would recommend you pick one up for yourself if you’re new to vaping.
Vaporesso has lived up to its premium reputation in all aspects of this product, including the packaging. On the front of the box is a lovely picture of the Luxe Nano and on the rear, you can find the various specifications, warnings, and contents list. Inside is the Luxe Nano mod, SKRR-S mini sub-ohm tank, 2 x coils, spare o-rings, vape band, USB cable, user manual and also a spare glass section.
