The VOOPOO VINCI AIR Pod System is a lightweight and compact MTL vape. It’s the 4th VINCI product to be released by VOOPOO within the last few months. This clearly indicates their confidence in this brand new line. So far it’s proven to be quite popular among all types of vapers. While previous VINCI renditions focused more on power output and DTL vaping, the VINCI AIR is all about airflow and convenience.
VOOPOO was one of the first vape manufacturers to develop an official pod mod in 2019. Soon after they released an external 18650 battery version called the VOOPOO VINCI X. I was a big fan of this device because it could output up to 70 watts. I’m happy to report that the VOOPOO VINCI AIR Pod System continues this tradition of innovation. Keep reading for a full breakdown of the pros and cons of this product.
The VOOPOO VINCI AIR Pod System is an extremely small and ultra-portable device. It’s perfect for on the go vaping. It measures in at just 100.9mm’s by 27mm’s by 18mm’s and is remarkably 30% thinner than previous VINCI models. The body contains a modest 900mAh rechargeable battery that can output between 5 and 30 watts. This is lower than the original VINCI 40W Pod, but it’s more than enough for MTL vaping.
The main chassis has been constructed from a durable Zinc-Alloy material. It feels less bulky in hand compared to previous renditions. I found the pod to be ergonomic and super easy to fire. Unfortunately, due to the size constraints, some settings have been removed. What you can do is change the fire mode ( manual or auto ), reset your puffs, and lock your device. This is all thanks to VOOPOO’s very own Gene AI chipset.
The cartridge connects to your battery via two strong magnets. It can hold 4ml of eliquid and is refillable. This can be easily done by opening the silicone stopper on the side of your cartridge. VOOPOO’s plug ‘n’ play coil system while convenient, is still prone to very minimal leaking. Two low ohm coils come with your kit. This includes a 0.6ohm mesh and 1.0ohm ceramic. Please note most other VOOPOO PnP coils are also compatible.
The airflow has been changed and is now nice and tight. Furthermore, this delivers a fantastic MTL draw. It can be modified by rotating your cartridge 180°, but in all honesty, it makes little to no change to the airflow. Various protections come standard with the VOOPOO VINCI AIR Pod System. On the bottom of your device is a MicroUSB port. I think it’s time for VOOPOO to adopt USB Type-C charging instead.
The VOOPOO VINCI AIR Pod System is currently available to buy right now from VaporDNA. It’s retailing for around $34.95 USD. Make sure to use coupon code ‘DNA10’ for 10% off at checkout if you’re a new customer. I think that’s a reasonable asking price for a decent MTL pod. If you own a VINCI device, you already know its a quality product that’s well worth a purchase.
The VOOPOO VINCI AIR Pod System comes in a large variety of colors that include rainbow, rainbow blue, red, blue, grey, camouflage, and also carbon fiber. I’m not the biggest fan of the streak pattern, but each to their own. The packaging looks modern and is also well presented. Inside you’ll find your VINCI AIR device, 1 x cartridge, 2 x coils, MicroUSB cable, and also a user manual.
