The Wismec Sinuous V200 Starter Kit is the perfect budget-friendly beginner setup that you need to get your hands on. Wismec has been around for ages, manufacturing tones of fantastic products like the Luxotic 250W Starter Kit and Reuleaux RX200. They focus their efforts on product innovation, function, and aesthetic. The Sinuous V200 Starter Kit by Wismec comes with the Amor NSE sub-ohm tank and also features an extensive temperature control suite.
The dimensions of the Sinuous V200 box mod is 88.8mm by 53.2mm by 25mm. It’s super light, weighing a measly 76.5 grams. This is because the construction is mostly PETG, with a small amount of Zinc-Alloy for the chassis. The battery door is held in tight by two strong magnetic strips and can accommodate dual 18650 batteries. On the front of the device is a modest sized 0.91″ OLED screen, with two adjustment buttons and a really nice fire button.
Looking inside the device, the chip being used is slightly old but nevertheless performs like a champ. The Avatar Chipset provides almost instant power on and firing function. It also comes with various protections and temperature modes to play around with. The maximum wattage output is 200 watts, with a voltage range of 0.5 to 8 volts. The resistance range goes from 0.05 to 3.50 ohms. Overall it’s a nice little cheap box mod that’s relatively powerful.
I was slightly disappointed by the 26mm Amor NSE sub-ohm tank. It’s made from 90% PETG, with a pyrex glass tube. It can hold 2ml of eliquid or 3ml with a bubble glass. Within the first day or so, my tube got stuck to the bottom base and I had to tear up the bottom airflow control to unscrew it. This wouldn’t have happened if it was made from stainless steel. But I do understand that Wismec wanted to make this kit budget friendly.
The flavor was good, but not great. Even after giving the tank a thorough clean, I still got the occasional weird plastic aftertaste. Filling the Armor NSE is super easy, just slide the top cap open and squeeze. The coils included were pretty average, one being a 0.27ohm mesh coil rated for 30 to 60 watts and also a 1.30ohm MTL coil rated for 8 to 14 watts.
The price of the Wismec Sinuous V200 Starter Kit is its saving grace being only $40 USD. How amazing is that! I would happily pay $40 USD alone for the box mod. Ergo I can forgive the Armor NSE sub-ohm tanks shortcomings. I love my Wismec Sinuous V200 and would highly recommend you go pick one up for yourself as a result.
The packaging is really nice and definitely worth hanging onto. The box features a lovely image of the Wismec Sinouois V200 Starter Kit, with various branding scattered throughout. On the back, you have a handy checklist, warnings and authenticity stamp. Inside you will find the kit, 2 x coils, micro USB cable, user manual, and also spare parts.
The kit is available in a variety of cool colors like green, red, black, and also magenta. The aesthetic of this vape is surprisingly good. I much prefer the look over some of my more expensive mods. I think Wismec have hit the nail on the head with this kits contour, detailing and simplistic body shape.
