The Yachtvape Meshlock RDA is an innovative rebuildable dripping atomizer that provides unparalleled flavor and cloud production. The intelligent and easy to use press-to-open clamping system makes building a breeze. The long-life mesh strips come in a variety of resistance types to suit your individual vaping style. I didn’t experience any flooding or leaking thanks to the three eliquid return holes. This also guarantees good wick saturation because the ejuice is spread across your entire deck.
This is the first vaping product to be released by Yachtvape in 2019. Many popular YouTube vape personalities like Mike Vapes, Vaping With Vic, and also Legion Vapes have given it rave reviews. The modern aesthetic of the Yachtvape Meshlock RDA is arguably superb. I especially liked the screw on Ultem drip tip. It felt fantastic on my lips and made each puff a pleasure to pull. Keep reading for a full breakdown of the Meshlock RDA specifications.
The Yachtvape Meshlock RDA is made from a stainless steel construction and measures 26.6mm’s by 24mm’s. It’s relatively lightweight, but still has a nice mass to it. The top cap is domed for maximum flavor and it features angled airflow holes that prevent leaking. These holes direct air straight underneath your mesh coil strip. As a result, you’ll get excellent flavor and an abundance of vapor.
The Yachtvape Meshlock RDA build deck has been ingeniously engineered. There are no screws to fumble around with, just squeeze either terminal to open up the clamps. The kit comes with two high-quality mesh strips that are quite sturdy and also easily malleable. This includes a 0.13 ohm mesh coil rated for 60 to 80 watts and also a 0.20 ohm mesh coil rated for 50 to 70 watts. Both coils perform consistently well.
One thing to bear in mind when wicking mesh strips is to make sure your cotton is touching every part of the coil. You will also need to trim the excess off the top and sides to ensure the cotton can be saturated evenly. If you’re not sure what you’re doing, I’d recommend checking out any number of wicking tutorials on YouTube. The great thing about rebuildables is that if you burn your cotton, it’s easy enough to replace it.
Another innovative idea that’s been incorporated into the Yachtvape Meshlock RDA is its three inlet holes. Two holes can be found on either side of the deck and the third sits underneath the coil. This provides great ejuice return and uniform saturation. Overall I’ve really enjoyed using this device and can’t wait to see what Yachtvape release next!
The Yachtvape Meshlock RDA can be hard to find. The cheapest price I could find was $35.99 USD from Vapesourcing. Make sure to use our exclusive 12% off coupon code ‘WWM12’ at checkout. I think that’s a fair asking price and well worth a purchase. Furthermore, if you were a fan of the Wotofo Profile Mesh RDA, the Meshlock RDA is a must-have.
The Yachtvape Meshlock RDA is available in a variety of colors that include black, blue, gunmetal, rainbow, gold, and also stainless steel. Each listed color features a gloss finish except for the matte black option. I wasn’t able to find any burs or machine marks on the RDA. The package includes the Meshlock RDA, a strip of Japanese cotton, spare 810 drip tip, 2 x mesh coils, accessory bag, and also a user manual.
